Abstract

This research is motivated by the problems that occur in learning in 4th grade elementary school at Kebarongan State Elementary School, the focus of the problem is described as follows: How to apply Problem Based Learning Model to improve student learning outcomes of 4th grade Kebarongan Elementary School. The research steps are adjusted to the stages of implementing CAR research which includes planning, implementation, observation, data collection, and reflection. The results of the implementation are evaluated in reflection to develop an improvement plan which is followed by implementation, observation and reflection in the next stage, up to three cycles. The results of the study were analyzed using qualitative and quantitative analysis. The results showed an increase in student learning outcomes for grade 4 SD Negeri Kebarongan. The research findings show that the Problem Based Learning learning model can gradually improve student learning outcomes. The conclusion of the study is that the Problem Based Learning model that is applied properly can improve the learning outcomes of 4th graders at SD Negeri Kebarongan.
