Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

AUTHOR GUIDELINES
  1. Manuscript accepted is written in standard Indonesian language
  2. The length of the manuscript is approximately 10-15 pages, written in Times New Roman 12, with 1,15 spaced, A4 paper format, one column (except for abstract, figure or table whose size cannot be reduced due to its readability), justified.
  3. Manuscript comprises five main headings: Pendahuluan (Introduction); Metode (Method); Hasil dan Pembahasan (Findings and Discussion); Simpulan dan Saran (Conclusions); Daftar Pustaka (References).
  4. The title of the manuscript must be as brief as possible and must represent the content of the manuscript.
  5. Authors’ names are written below the title, followed by authors’ affiliation (name of the affiliation, address and country) and e-mail address.
  6. The abstract is written in two languages: Indonesian and English or only in English if the full text is written in English, as a representation of the manuscript. The abstract written in 100-150 words for each language format, written narratively comprising an introduction, aims/objectives, method, and findings of the research/article, in one paragraph. The abstract is written in Times New Roman 10 and single-spaced.
  7. Keywords: words or phrases which are important, specific, or representative to the article.
  8. Pendahuluan (introduction) proportion at least 15%- 20% of the total manuscript which is consist of background, rational, urgency, advantages of the study, comparative study, gap analysis and the aim of the research.
  9. Metode (method) contains research design, time and place, target (population and samples) procedures, instruments and data analysis technique which not exceed than 15% of the manuscript. The author recommends attaching “ethical clearance” and instruments in the separated files. 
  10. Hasil dan pembahasan (findings and discussion) contains the diagrams, graphics, tables, or other figures that represent the research finding and also comparative study. The unique findings and discussion became the strength of this research towards the other relevant study. Discussion must describe the findings clearly. The proportion of this part is 40-60% of the total manuscript. 
  11. Kesimpulan (the conclusions)  APA 6.0 style is used as a reference in the citation, references, and writing format. The Author recommends using Mendeley reference manager tool.
  12. The references of the article are in the form of journals and non-journals which are published at least 10 years and 80% from the primary source (thesis, research articles, monograph, etc)
  13. The manuscript should be written appropriately with the following link TEMPLATE  or go to the sidebar. 
  14. The manuscript must be in Microsoft Word (.doc/ .docx or .rtf), and sent to the journal system via online submission by creating an account in this Open Journal System (OJS) [click REGISTER if you have not had any account yet, or click LOG IN if you have already had an account].
  15. All Author(s)' names and identity(es) must be completely embedded in the form filled in by the corresponding author: email; affiliation; and each author's short biography (in the column of 'Bio Statement'). [if the manuscript is written by two or more authors, please click 'Add Author' in the 3rd step of 'ENTER METADATA' in the submission process and then enter each author's data.]
  16. Authors' biography (in the column of Bio Statement) is written in the form of narration, including the author's full name, place, and date of birth, educational qualification/information started from bachelor degree (S-1) until the latest educational degree, the affiliation in which the author is currently working, phone number, and email address.
  17. All correspondences, information, and decisions for the submitted manuscripts are conducted through email was written in the manuscript and/or the emails used for the submission. The status of the manuscript can be checked in the OJS by logging in to the journal.
